Behind the lens…
Hi everyone, I'm Kelly, and I'm thrilled to connect with you all. Flookburgh has always been my home; I spent my childhood and teenage years . Many of you probably know me if you already follow my facebook page to which i thankyou for all your encouragement and support.
So what started my interest in photography?
Life has a way of shaping us, doesn't it? In 2013, my family and I faced the devastating loss of my father to bowel cancer. St Mary's Hospice provided incredible support and care during his final weeks, and I've always felt a deep desire to give back to them.
Fast forward to early 2024 I discovered a passion for photography which started as a therapeutic outlet, a way to process my emotions and find beauty in the everyday.
I started sharing my photos on Facebook to my suprise I was amazed by the positive response from everyone .
December 2024 I decided to do my first calendar very last minute and juggling it around my full-time job as a self employed cleaner.
This year I would like to raise more money for st.marys.
